Save the Date: NCMTP Mock Trial Summer Camp, July 22-25, 2020

Posted: January 16, 2020

Do you want to learn more about mock trial this summer?

We hope you join us for our 8th annual 4-day summer camp on July 22-25, 2020 at the UNC-Chapel Hill campus.  All instruction will take place at the UNC School of Law building.  Rising eighth graders – graduating seniors are eligible to attend.

In this four-day camp, students and teachers learn about all aspects of mock trial, from opening statements to closing arguments and everything in between. Informative and interactive presentations cover direct and cross examination, objections and Rules of Evidence, and the roles of witnesses and attorneys. Through small group break-out sessions, students practice their new skills as they prepared to argue one side of a fictional criminal case in an end-of camp scrimmage. Family and friends are welcome to attend these trial presentations!

Learn more and reserve your spot at our summer camp webpage.
