Team Registration forms for the 2012-2013 season have been posted online!
Note that the Early Registration deadline (for priority in Regional site placement) is Friday, Sept. 21. The Final Registration deadline is Friday, November 30. Forms can be downloaded and scanned/emailed, faxed, or mailed to the CCCE (information is on the form).
In addition, the Photo/Video Release Form, Ethics Form, Team Roster Form, and M. Gordon Widenhouse Jr. Award Application Form are also posted. You can find all of these forms at http://ncmocktrial.org/competitions/important-forms
New Teachers' Resource Manual has been posted!
The completely revised and updated "Teachers' Resource Manual: A Guide for Teacher-Coaches" has just been uploaded to the site! You can find it at http://ncmocktrial.org/resources/training-materials.
That page also contains links to several additional resources, including "Easy Steps to Starting a Team," FAQs, and several new checklists for use by student attorneys and witnesses. Check them out!

http://ncmocktrial.org/competitions/case-materials. NOTE: A number of changes and updates have been made to the competition rules; please read all rules carefully. A sheet detailing the most important changes has been posted for your reference. In particular, read Rules 1.3 and 2.3, as 1.3 has been expanded and 2.3 is completely revised. Also note that the time allotted for Closing Arguments has been extended to 5 minutes.
Finally, the Simplified Rules of Evidence have been updated to correspond to the 2011 Federal Rules of Evidence. The changes to the Rules of Evidence are mainly in form and formatting rather than substance, but it is important to be aware of the change.
